As'Salaamu Al'laikum!

I am an educated women, currently fulfilling my collegiate goals in the art of Linguistics. I've been a humble servant to Allah all my life, and with Allah's many blessings bestowed upon me, I believe I have been faithful in His eyes. I am a strong, dedicated woman who hasn't strayed to the wrong path with my independence. I am not perfect; we've all sinned, but I am not among those who have gone astray either. I have a huge family, therefore, I appreciate the meaning of "family values", and I live by my parents' 35yr marriage as an example for Future success. What I Am Looking For
I am looking for an African-American, Muslim-raised man who can relate with me on several levels:
1- Culture is important; In order to fully understand someone, one must empathize with their partner's experiences - their upbringing. I have witnessed relationships that do not last because the couple are too different, regardless of their shared faith. In'sha Allah, that WILL NOT be me.
2- If you are not a dedicated Muslim, please, don't waste either of our time. I am prepared for marriage now, and I mean to see it through with a Muslim worthy of my ambitions.
3- As, I have stated before, I have a passion for Linguistics, and it is my goal to live abroad; My husband would have to have the same ideals. I wish to experience Morroco and Europe for at least 2-3 yrs of my life, but as a Muslima, I do not desire this alone. Furthermore, as my family is American, I do not wish to part ways from them for long; however, I must grow and live my life as well.
Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough, I WANT a marriage, yet, I WILL NOT rush into It. I want a courtship that'll last at least 2 yrs, because I MUST KNOW YOU before I commit the remainder of my life to you. In'sha Allah, I plan to court for the remainder of my pursued degree, and marry 6 months after graduation. This is the most important matter to me, and I won't break it.
